No land, power or riches is worth human lives. There is enough of everything for anyone and it is absurd to have a war and let humans die. With horror and shock we had to observe the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, instead of choosing a diplomatic solution. War is always to condemn as its bringing death and destruction, just how we have to witness now. The weapons have to be laid down! Rodina e.V. in Frankfurt Oder is a multicultural art- and cultural association. It is dedicated to the integration of immigrants into Germany, especially from the former Soviet Union, in the social and cultural areas. The increase of Ukrainian refugees including Russian speaking ones, that fled into their hometown into the West before the beginning of the war also gives Rodina e.V. the task to help were we can. We would be glad to invite the Ukrainian people to join any of our projects, to start the beginning of a peaceful life with one another.
